Introduction
This four-week promotional plan will communicate the importance of the outcomes of the alignment series for your church and everything your church needs to know to participate well. This document outlines the plan, with links to graphics, videos, and social media. It will also provide sample emails, social posts, talking points for church announcements, a sermon outline, and small group material.
The promotions will begin four Sundays before the date of your congregation's workshop with a video invite. The three Sundays after this will also have a short video. If your church has multiple Worship services throughout the weekend, simply adjust the day of the first worship service four weekends before the workshop.

God has put each of us in a place to produce lasting fruit, and we want to bear more fruit each year. To produce more fruit, we must step back and look at what we do and how we do it!
As a church, we have invited Jon Drebert to lead us through the Alignment Series. The Alignment Series is five sessions; each addresses an aspect of the church. Work well within these areas, and our church will see a harvest.

Subject: 4 lenses of the Alignment Series
Hey Friend,
I just want to say thanks for completing the Assessment. If you still need to do it, there is still time, but don't delay any longer because I will soon be compiling all of the responses so we can use this information.
There are four lenses that I use during the Alignment Series. Here is a quick overview of each.
Alignment
As followers of Christ, your mission must come out of the teachings and example of Christ. We will ask two questions. How well aligned is your mission (what we are trying to accomplish) with the commands and example of Christ? Second, how well aligned is each individual with the church's mission?
Clarity
We must have clarity about the mission, our role, the people we are trying to serve, and the barriers that stand in the way. You will also need clear communication.
Focus
Many distractions in life exist, some working against the very thing you are working toward. This lens is about maintaining focus and setting aside other things to work on the mission.
Urgency
Often, we can maintain clarity and focus on nearly everything but can lose the urgency of the mission. Why can't these tasks be put off? When is it too late, and what will the outcome be if we are too late?
We will use the four lenses in the five sessions listed below.

Subject: What happens if you fail?
What happens if your church fails at its mission? What happens to the people you are trying to reach and serve? What happens to your church?
Just a little reflection will show you that your mission is critical. If you don't see that, you either have a mission that is not aligned with Christ or need more clarity about the mission.
What happens if your church is successful in its mission? What happens to the people you are trying to reach and serve? What happens to your church?
This second set of questions are inspiring. They make me want to work hard to see this come about. What about you? Are you inspired? Is there hope and excitement building?
If so, I am glad.
If not, I am concerned.
Let's pray that God will capture and align our hearts with his own. May we weep with Christ, and may we celebrate with him. We all need a softening of our hearts to align more accurately with him.
We have just nine days left before the start of our time together. Let's pray that our hearts are ready for what God will do in each of us.
